Since 2007 we celebrate October 2 as International Day of Nonviolence, Mahatma Gandhi's birth date. World Without Wars Without Violence and Milan, who daily promotes activities in support of nonviolence, one year after the organization of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence, starting October 2, 2009, ha organizzato diversi eventi per celebrare questa giornata in diversi punti della città.
Dal primo pomeriggio avranno inizio attività per grandi e piccoli a partire da via Ascanio Sforza 51 .
Alle ore 15.00 parata con performance teatrale per le vie di Milano dal titolo "Martin Luter King incontra Gandhi", seguita da una " Caccia al tesoro" per bambini e genitori che si svilupperà nella città, per andare a caccia d'indizi alla ricerca di un tesoro molto speciale: la nonviolenza!
Alle ore 17.00 "LiberaMI", risiko al contrario, un momento ludico che partendo sempre da via Ascanio Sforza 51, through the game wants to leave the city with landmarks of which involve violence and associations, schools and all the Milanese. The day continues with the evening event Peace Party, a great festival devoted entirely to issues of peace and nonviolence, at Area MoonHouse, via Barlow 12 - Zona Ripamonti , where it will also Convergence of Cultures with a platform for information.
At 21:00 will begin with the screening of videos of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence and the presentation of Book of World March ( www.marciamondiale.org ) with the personal testimonies of Milan who have participated in different parts of the world.
Starting from 22.30 the evening comes alive with music "Jack & The Great Vibes Jaselli Foundation and follow from the Crypt" Peace on dancing all night long "with friends of BM radio .
