Parabiago Opens in a space of solidarity and for migrants

"Nabad Onlus" and "Convergence of Cultures" today announced the opening of "Area Migrant Worlds," a space dedicated migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the territory northwest of Milan, a multicultural project against racism and all forms of violence and discrimination.

The Counter
Space Migrant Worlds "operates through a door open on Saturdays from 10.00 to 12.30 at Fontana Village in via Santa Maria (entrance via Oberdan 2), Parabiago (MI). The space, managed entirely by volunteers, offers a variety of activities in the reception, information, social integration and solidarity:

• assistance in preparing the documentation relating to residence permits and reunions family.
• legal support
• Guidance and Information on services and training courses in the area.

Project Space Migrant Worlds "was founded with the goal of creating a network of solidarity between Italian citizens and foreigners, to encourage and promote the integration path of mutual knowledge through classes, events and awareness campaigns . The specific aims to achieve:

• Italian courses for migrants
• Development of intercultural events
• Promotion of awareness campaigns and denounces all forms of discrimination and violence to respect human rights
